On December 3rd, the new restaurant "oben" is opening!
The restaurant embedded in nature at an altitude of 1,708 meters directly at the mountain station of the Petzen Bergbahnen shines with newly developed views of the majestic mountain and valley landscape. We have succeeded in creating a rustic and cozy restaurant, with a panoramic view of the intact nature in almost all directions.

Every detail has been carefully selected and put together with a lot of heart. So also the name – "oben", which has a very special meaning. If you read the word backwards, the name "nebo" arises, which means "heaven" in Slovenian. A heavenly view from our new restaurant which brings us a little closer to heaven. Our idea was to create a stylish ambience that does not exist far and wide, where everyone is welcome and where guests can become regular guests and friends.

The terrace with 150 seats and the panoramic view of the Jauntal is really sophisticated, while the indoor area is a cozy mix of modern elements and rustic ambience. The restaurant and a karlounge on the 1st floor can accommodate 140 people. The special feature – half of the indoor area can be opened in good weather. In the basement are the premises of the Geopark Karawanken - Geo.Dom, where you can view and marvel at changing exhibitions.
